The White River Natural Resources Conservation District is partnering with Yellowbud Farm, a New England nursery that produces high-quality perennial tree stock for a future resilient food system.  Plan for future famine protection on your property by planting any of our available trees, including:  Chestnut, Persimmon, Yellowbud Hickory, Shellbark Hickory, Honey Locust, Hazel, Black Walnut, and Oak.

Yellowbud Farm grows improved trees without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. Their fertility inputs include composted wood chips and pasteurized human urine provided by our partners at the Rich Earth Institute. All of the nut trees are inoculated with known symbiotic ectomycorrhizal fungi, and all fruit trees and honey locusts are inoculated with known symbiotic arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi. The propagation systems have been designed to maximize the quality and transplantability of the trees offered. Ever trialing and iterating, Yellowbud is thrilled to offer vigorous trees ready to thrive in their forever home.
