Support Farm Force: Training the Next Generation of Conservation Planners
The White River Natural Resources Conservation District (WRNRCD) in Vermont, the Virgin Islands Women in Agriculture Association (VIWIAA), and the Bennington County Natural Resources Conservation District have joined forces with the Working Lands Conservation Corps (WLCC) to shape the future of sustainable agriculture and conservation. This groundbreaking program, Farm Force, bridges Vermont and the US Virgin Islands, training 30 young adults in Conservation Planning, Climate-Smart Agriculture, and farm advocacy over one year.
The program is more than training—it’s a vital initiative to address workforce gaps in conservation planning and sustainable agriculture. It provides participants with the skills to become Certified Conservation Planners and implement climate-resilient farming practices, empowering them to drive food security, environmental sustainability, and community resilience across their regions.
Your support empowers these future leaders, providing them with the knowledge, experience, and connections to champion conservation and food security in their regions. Together, we can cultivate a new generation of conservation planners and farm advocates, creating a brighter, more sustainable future for all.
By supporting Farm Force, you’re investing in young leaders, empowering farmers, and contributing to a brighter, more sustainable future. Join us in making a difference—donate today!
